Police End Three Week Chase

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department, the Highway Patrol and the Narcotics Unit were all called to bring in two suspects that have been on the run for the past 3 weeks. 29 year old Robert Cannon and 20 year old Bridget LaChance were both wanted on felony warrants until they were taken into custody last night. The Sheriff’s Department and Highway Patrol became involved when Cannon made threats to the Bail Bondsman who was pursuing the two suspects. Cannon and LaChance had eluded the bondsman a few times before threatening to shoot him in the face. The suspects were tracked to Beaufort, and upon seeing police, took off in a vehicle but got stuck in a wooded area shortly after. Cannon Fled on Foot but was taken into custody. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found in the vehicle. both suspects were transported to the Franklin County Jail.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Baseball Player Spencer Juergens from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in Washington. Spencer is the Ace of the pitching staff with a 4-0 record. He has given up just one run this season and currently sports an earned run average of .33. Spencer has allowed 11 hits in 21 innings but no extra base hits. He has struck out 16 while walking two for a strike out to walk ratio of 8.1.
