Missourian(s) Support Marijuana Legalization

With two states already approving it and many more considering it, where does Missouri fall on the issue of Marijuana legalization. Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander announced Wednesday he has approved 13 different petitions to get an amendment on the ballot. But before a petition appears on a ballot, it would need almost 158 thousand signatures by May 2014. While 13 may sound like a lot, all of them were filed by one man, an attorney and advocate for marijuana legalization based in Columbia. KLPW wants to know how you feel about marijuana legalization. The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Borgia Freshman Golfer Thomas Alferman. Alferman is a member of the Borgia team that qualified for the state tournament at Silo Ridge in Boliver this week. In the district tournament at the Sullivan Country Club, Thomas shot a 13 over par 84 helping the team to a second place finish.
