Man Who Caused Washington School Lockdown Arrested Again

The man who had Franklin County on high alert late last year is once again in trouble with the law. Derrick Howard was arrested in December after a pursuit originating in Krakow that went to Washington where he fled in to the woods with a rifle shutting down schools in the area. Late last week Union Police Officers and Franklin County Deputies executed an arrest in CC Camp Mobile Home Court in Union. Law enforcement arrested Howard, who was wanted on misdemeanor charges related to an alleged domestic assault.
