Major Flooding

The National Weather Service and Local Officials are monitoring the flooding potential in the area. The Missouri River is rising quickly and is scheduled to crest at 30.3 ft on Sunday, June 2nd. This would make Missouri Highway 47 impassable near the Augusta Bottom Road, in Warren County. It would also cause flooding at Lake Creek Bridge near Missouri Highway 94 in Dutzow. Travel will be impacted for many local citizens so plan accordingly.Never try to cross water covered bridges or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one. If there are any further questions regarding the subject, please contact the Franklin County Emergency Management Agency at 636-583-1679 or in the event of an emergency, contact 911.
