Listen to the Washington Memorial Day Ceremony on KLPW

KLPW will be broadcasting the Memorial Day services hosted by American Legion Post 218. The live broadcast will begin at 9:30 am on Monday with the Washington Brass Band. The guest speaker for this year’s ceremony will be retired U.S. Army Lieutenant William Gardner. The ceremony will be held on the river front. The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.
