Bourbeuse River Operation Clean Stream

Bourbeuse River Operation Clean Stream will give up to four service grant awards of $250 each. The awards will be given to high school seniors who have demonstrated a willingness to work to better our environment such as Operation Clean Stream, road clean-ups or recycling programs. Applicants must show proof of enrollment at any accredited school of higher education including a technical or trade school. Students may pick up the application form from their respective high school guidance office. Application deadline is April 30, 2013. The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Junior Basketball Player Hailey Diestelkamp with the Owensville Dutchgirls. She recently became the all-time scoring leader at Owensville High School surpassing Katie Davis. Hailey played volleyball her first two years of high school, but after suffering an injury playing basketball last summer, she decided to focus on basketball this year. Hailey runs track in the spring.
