Washington Police cannot say definitively whether or not the call that came from the South Winds apartment complex early Sunday morning was a suicide or accidental death. According to the department, officers arrived at a residence around two o'clock to investigate the death of an 18-year-old Washington man. Authorities say the man's girlfriend was in another room when she heard a single gunshot. The girlfriend noted that her boyfriend frequently tinkered with his guns, but didn't know him to be suicidal at the time. Police say the only round loaded into the gun was the bullet that killed the man. No foul play is suspected.
