The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is St. Clair Wrestler Mike Wright. He took second place at state this past weekend, falling to Garret Behr of Bolivar 2-1 in the title match Saturday night. Mike finished the season with a 54-3 record. He has 144 career wins, three time conference champion, three time district champion, two time runner-up at state. Mike Wright set the school record for pins in a season with 40, surpassing the old mark of 36 set by Ryan Beltz last year. Mike also defeated the heavyweight state champ, Tully Byrne of Pleasant Hill, in a regular season match.
