The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Tony Helfrich with the St. Francis Borgia Baseball Team. Helfrich pitched a no hitter against Montgomery County with 10 strike outs and two walks. Coach Rob Struckhoff says Helfrich has good control, keeps the ball down in the zone and rarely gives up a walk. At at the plate, Helfrich is 4 for 15 with two singles, two doubles and one batted in. In Tuesday's 11-0 victory over St. Dominic, Helfrich pitched a one hitter with two strike outs and one walk improving his record to 2-0 and Borgia's record to 5-0.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Freshman Cross Country Runner Julia McIntyre from New Haven High School. Julia finished sixth in the state meet in Jefferson City with a time of 20:58.40 at the Oak Hills Golf Course in Jefferson City earlier this month. She helped her team to a 12th place finish. Julia was a straight A student at Franklin County R-2 and she continues to get A's in high school.

Alex Collins ran for 130 yards and three touchdowns as the Missouri Tigers fell to Arkansas, 28-3, Friday afternoon at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The defense for Mizzou could have hardly started any better, as they allowed positive yardage on just one of Arkansas' first eight plays. In all, five of those eight plays went for negative yardage, including a Ricky Hatley sack to give the defense two three-and-outs to start the game.
