Luke Schroepfer

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Basketball Player Luke Schroepfer. The 6-3 Senior Guard/Forward is averaging 12 points and four rebounds per game. Luke is 65 of 149 from the floor for a shooting percentage of 43.62 percent and he's 42-of-49 from the free throw line for 85.7 percent. Luke leads the team in assists with 35. Luke is a 4.0 student and plans to attend Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. It is a small public teaching and research university devoted to engineering and applied science, with special expertise in the development and stewardship of the Earth's natural resources.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Seth Schenck. The New Haven Junior won the state title in the the 800 meter run at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Seth also took second in the 1600 meter run and anchored the 4X800 relay team that captured seventh place. Seth also played basketball and ran cross country in his junior year at New Haven. He is also a very good student.

The Champions Tour comes to St. Louis for the Senior PGA Championship this week. This year's host course, Bellerive Country Club, has hosted the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Senior Open and two U.S. Mid-Amateur championships. The course will also host the 100th annual PGA Championship in 2018.
