Luke is a 4.0 student and plans to attend Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. It is a small public teaching and research university devoted to engineering and applied science, with special expertise in the development and stewardship of the Earth's natural resources.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-0 Senior Forward Megan Jensen with the St. Francis Borgia Girls Basketball Team. Megan scored 24 points leading Borgia to a 52-47 win over Cardinal Ritter in the championship game of the Borgia/Competitive Edge Tournament Saturday afternoon. In three tournament games last week. Megan scored 63 points and earned MVP honors.

When our daughter turned 13, as part of her birthday celebration we drove 13 seventh-grade girls to the mall. As one of the drivers, I can attest that a vanload of young adolescent girls generates plenty of chatter...and plenty of drama.

Boys Basketball...
Borgia shot 50 percent from the floor and had four players in double figures in a 71-51 win over St. Dominic. Luke DeLine drained four three pointers and finished with 18 points. Jack Hellebusch hit five three's for 15 points with Alex Movila adding 15 and Trey Hunter 10 as Borgia moved to 16-5 and 3-2 in the AAA Conference. Jared North scored 15 for the Crusaders, now 12-11 and 0-5.
