Luke is 65 of 149 from the floor for a shooting percentage of 43.62 percent and he's 42-of-49 from the free throw line for 85.7 percent. Luke leads the team in assists with 35. Luke is a 4.0 student and plans to attend Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. It is a small public teaching and research university devoted to engineering and applied science, with special expertise in the development and stewardship of the Earth's natural resources.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Union Senior Pitcher Janna Ruether. Her record is 6-4 with a 4.35 era. Janna has registered 40 strike outs with 33 walks in 37 innings pitched this seaon. As a hitter, Janna is batting .308 with 10 rbi with one double and one triple. Janna has played a major role in Union's run to the Four Rivers Conference Championship this year.

Early Tuesday morning, U.S. fighter jets, armed Predator and Reaper drones, and Navy ships launched airstrike attacks against ISIS, deep within Syria. While it is ironic that it was about a year ago at this time that President Obama was seriously considering strikes against Syrian leader Bashir al-Assad, sometimes threats emerge even greater than the last.
