The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Senior Legion Baseball Player Luke Hasenjaeger. He finished the season with a .317 batting average and an on-base percentage of .370 with 21rbi and 23 runs. As a pitcher, Hasenjaeger finished with a 5-1 record and an era of 4.55. He also played good defense in left field with a strong arm and good range. Luke was a three sport athlete at Washington High School. He graduated this past spring. He will continue his baseball career at Missouri S&T in Rolla.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-0 Senior Forward Megan Jensen with the St. Francis Borgia Girls Basketball Team. Megan scored 24 points leading Borgia to a 52-47 win over Cardinal Ritter in the championship game of the Borgia/Competitive Edge Tournament Saturday afternoon. In three tournament games last week. Megan scored 63 points and earned MVP honors.

Denver Bronco fans are celebrating their team's dominating 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning tells ABC's "Good Morning America" he celebrated late into the night. Manning lifted the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in his career in what might have been his final game. Manning turns 40 next month and is expected to retire.
