Jake Lochner

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Junior Baseball Player Jake Lochner from Sullivan High School. Jake leads the pitching staff with an 8-1 record, 46 innings pitched and an earned run average of 0.15. Lochner has only given up seven runs all season and six were unearned. He has also struck out 84 batters while walking 19. Strike out average is 12.78 and Strike out to walk ratio is 4.43. As a hitter, Lochner's average is .372 with 10 runs batted in and three triples and four doubles. Jake also has good speed. He leads the team with ten stolen bases. Jake pitched the final two innings in the continuation game against St. James Friday and struck out five leading the Eagles to a 3-2 win and the Four Rivers Conference Championship. Jake was also named the Four Rivers Conference Player of the Year.

Mikayla has already accumulated a lost list of accomplishments in the first couple of years of her high school career.
