Tom Schweich Planning to Review the Department of Social Services’ Administration of Two Assistance Orograms

Missouri Auditor Tom Schweich is planning to review the Department of Social Services’ administration of two assistance programs. Schweich said that the audit will focus on temporary assistance for needy families and the electronic benefit transfer process, which is to access food stamps. The audit has been added to the 2013 schedule for Schweich’s office. Schwiech pointed to recent reports of benefits being accessed from casinos, gentlemen’s clubs, and locations around the world.
