Three Day Garage Sale in Washington

A big three day garage sale is coming up this week in Washington. On Thursday 9 to 4, Friday 8-5 and Saturday 7 to 3 check out a huge selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes and shoes in lots of different sizes, a large assortment of tools, house wares and toys not to mention, golf bags, books, electronics, furniture and much much more! They’re going to have different items every day so stop by a few times to make sure you don’t miss anything. The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Washington Softball Player Megan Micke. The Junior Shortstop had a terrific start to the season helping the Jays to a second place finish in the Union Tournament Saturday. In three games, Megan had 11 plate appearances, eight official at-bats, four hits, including a double, an rbi, a stolen base with six runs scored, three walks and two strike outs.

Matt Holliday singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Cardinals rallied past the Pirates 5-4 in the first of three from Busch Stadium. Kolten Wong hit a pinch-hit two-run homer earlier in the seventh to tie the game at four. Holliday also had a two-run double in the third for the Redbirds, who have won three straight to take over first place in the NL Central. St.
