Franklin county deputies were called after a mother of an infant found her daughter unresponsive. At approximately 4:25 Tuesday morning The mother of 2 month old Ava Declue was checking on her child and found her unresponsive. Franklin County Communications gave CPR instructions to the mother and CPR was continued by ambulance personnel upon their arrival. The child did not recover and was pronounced deceased at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan. The cause of death is not known at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for today at the St. Louis County Medical Examiner’s Office.
