Students from Washington and Borgia Will Participate in United Way Door-to-Door Drive

After school on September 26, 2012, students from both Washington and Borgia will be going door to door to raise money for The United Way. Adult drivers will escort the students to different areas around Washington before returning to their respective schools for pizza and beverages. Last year, the 270 students raised over $9,500. Students will leave behind a campaign brochure and pledge card for residents that will not be home. People outside Washington who would also like to donate can mail contributions to Franklin County United Way Po-Box 3 Washington Missouri 63090.
