Round-About Construction Will Begin This Week

Construction on Union’s second Round about, located at Independence Drive and Highway A, will get under way Tuesday. Union City Engineer Jonathon Zimmerman says construction crews will be putting up signs Monday and Demolition work will begin Tuesday. Mayor Mike Livengood says people need to take a different road to avoid construction.

“Cars need to take church street to cut across to CC Camp Road and trucks need to take Highway BB”

Zimmerman expects the project to take about 60 days

Lefty Marco Gonzales calmed down after a rough start, pitching four-and-two thirds innings and allowing a run on three hits. Five spring games remain for the Cards, who host the Nationals today.
