University of Missouri spokesman, Christian Basi, says the new efficient boiler will allow university researchers to find the most efficient renewable fuels available in Missouri. Basi also says that the new boiler will cut the university’s coal use by more than 25%. Some of the fuels being used now at the plant include corn cobs, old trees, and wood chips.
