Police Called to an Out of Control Party in St. Clair

Police were called to an out of control party in St. Clair over the weekend of February 1, 2013. Sherriff’s deputies were called to the house off of Red Fox Road on Saturday February 2, 2012 for a complaint of a party involving teenagers and alcohol. When deputies entered, they found teens hiding throughout the home. Empty bottles and a keg were also found. Deputies issued eleven tickets for underage drinking to people who were visibly intoxicated. An adult male and the 18-year-old host received citations for failing to stop people under 21 from consuming alcoholic beverages. Five people under seventeen were found at the scene and were released to their parents.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is State Champion Wrestler Dalton Voyles from Pacific High School. Dalton won the class 3 title at 182 pounds with a 6-2 decision over Zach Courtoise of Kearney Saturday at the University of Missouri-Columbia. It caps off a tremendous season for Dalton with a 56-2 record. Dalton, who is very good on his feet, took control early in the bout in securing the win over Courtoise.

Paul Stastny netted the game-winner with 5:40 to play to give the Blues a 2-1 win over the Oilers at Rexall Place. Dmitrij Jaskin found the back of the net as well and Brian Elliot had 21 saves. The victory was St. Louis's fourth straight on the road. Ben Scrivens gave up both goals on 27 shots for Edmonton, which has dropped five of its last seven. Justin Schultz scored the Oilers' lone goal in the loss.
