New Haven Armed Robbery

On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a male subject wearing a black mask, black or dark gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves and dark clothes, entered the Fidelity Communications office located on Circle Dr. in New Haven.
With his hood pulled down low over the eyes, the suspect pulled a handgun and, aiming it at the clerk, demanded money. After receiving money, he walked outside and went around the building.
Within minutes, the New Haven Police was on the scene as well as deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Dept. After checking the area for the suspect, Officers and Deputies searched the area for clues. Schools were locked down until officers could secure the area.
Some possible evidence was recovered. Leads have been coming in and Officers are currently following up on them. Chief Sheible would like to remind citizens that, with the current economy, some people are getting desperate. New Haven joins Pacific and Union as well as other cities in which armed robberies have taken place in the previous weeks. Please be vigilant, and remember to lock your homes and cars.
New Haven Police have a man in custody for the robbery. 18-year-old Oscar Rivera walked into the Fidelity Telephone office with a gun and demanded money. Rivera was charged with armed robbery and is currently at the Franklin County Jail on a $50,000 cash only bond. Charges are also being sought on an accomplice. Police Chief John Sheible would like to thank all of the observant citizens who flooded the New Haven Police Department with tips and information.

OFF THE CUFF with Diane Jones

I am a woman. I would be more than happy to have more money in my paycheck. Too bad the Paycheck Fairness Act won't do that for me. Who wants "equality" if it comes because everyone makes less money?

Nonetheless, the Paycheck Fairness Act is the latest weapon in the War On Women, part II--2014 election style.
