Machinery Fire at CG Power

CG Power in Washington Industrial Park was evacuated on the morning of November 19, 2012 due to a machinery fire. The Washington Fire Department received the call around 8:00am after employees activated the automatic alarm. According to Chief Bill Halmich, the fire began when pressurized diesel used to test machinery ignited. The first alarm fire caused damage to the blaster machine, but no injuries were reported. Washington Fire Department had the blaze under control in about twenty minutes and left the scene around 9:30am.

He's given up seven runs, three earned over 43 innings and his ERA is .736. As a hitter, Spencer's average is .520 with 16 rbi's and 13 runs scored. In 44 official at bats, Spencer has struck out just five times with two walks.

Over the course of the past 16 years doing commentary on air and in print, there have sadly been many mass shootings and many predictable politicized reactions.

The shootings at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, however, stands out for two main reasons.

It involved race, and it was done it a church.
