Laclede Bills Set to Go Up

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request filed by Laclede Gas Company to adjust the infrastructure system replacement surcharge on the bills of its natural gas customers. The surcharge first appeared on customer bills in June 2004. The I.S.R.S. adjustment reflects infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company since June of last year. The current I.S.R.S. for residential customers of Laclede is $1.23 per month. As a result of the filing, the new rate will be $1.82 per month and will take effect March 15. Laclede Gas Company provides natural gas service to approximately 630,000 customers throughout the St. Louis metro area including Franklin, St. Charles, Jefferson and St. Louis Counties.
