Gov. Nixon Appoints Marthasville Woman as New Warren County Prosecutor

According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, longtime assistant Franklin County prosecutor Jennifer Bartlett has been appointed as the new Warren County prosecutor by Gov. Jay Nixon. Bartlett succeeds Michael Wright who was appointed to a Warren County associate circuit judgeship earlier this month. A Marthasville resident, Bartlett has worked for the Franklin County prosecutor’s office since 2002.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is 6-0 Senior Forward Megan Jensen with the St. Francis Borgia Girls Basketball Team. Megan scored 24 points leading Borgia to a 52-47 win over Cardinal Ritter in the championship game of the Borgia/Competitive Edge Tournament Saturday afternoon. In three tournament games last week. Megan scored 63 points and earned MVP honors.
