Franklin County Planning and Zoning Master Plan will go before County Commission

The Franklin County planning and zoning master plan will go before the county commission for a public hearing. Planning director Scottie Eagen says some of the recommendations from the review committee will center on a few changes to the land use map. The master plan is a document that will serve as a tool for future development in the county. There is no time limit on it, but it will remain open to revision. Eagen looks for commissioners to hold a public hearing in October.
