Bourbeuse River Operation Clean Stream

Bourbeuse River Operation Clean Stream will give up to four service grant awards of $250 each. The awards will be given to high school seniors who have demonstrated a willingness to work to better our environment such as Operation Clean Stream, road clean-ups or recycling programs. Applicants must show proof of enrollment at any accredited school of higher education including a technical or trade school. Students may pick up the application form from their respective high school guidance office. Application deadline is April 30, 2013. The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Baseball Player Kyle Ruediger from New Haven High School. At the plate, Kyle has a team leading .486 average with 14 rbi, two triples and six doubles. He has struck out just five times while drawing 11 walks. Kyle has seven stolen bases on the year. He plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia.
