Amtrak Services Between St. Louis and Kansas City Will Return to Normal Schedule

Amtrak said its passenger train service between St. Louis and Kansas City will return to its normal schedule by the week of October 7, 2012. The work is wrapping up 10 days earlier than expected, and Amtrak said all of its Missouri River Runner Trains will be back on their standard schedules. Washington Tourism director Mary Beth Rettke says the 311 westbound train coming through Washington will go back to 10:21am instead of the current 8:21am. The eastbound 134 will come in at 12:31pm instead of 11:31am; eastbound 313 did not change its 5:06pm arrival due to construction. Eastbound 316 will now be arriving at 8:16pm, an hour earlier than it did during construction.
