The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Kadence Gardner-Senior Forward with the St. Clair Soccer Team.

Gardner has logged 15 goals and 11 assists for 41 points. 4 game winning goals.

She leads the Metro in goals and assists.

In a game against North County March 26th, Gardner dominated with 4 goals in a 9-1 win.

She has helped guide St. Clair to a 5-4-1 record.

Kadence and her teammates will compete in the Hillsboro Tournament this week.

Kadence scored again in a 4-1 win over Hillsboro in the first round of the Hillsboro Tournament giving her 16 goals on the season.

GPA-3.7

Member of the National Honor Society.

Undecided on a college at this time, but plans to play soccer and pursue a degree in nursing.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Jake Collier-Junior-Pacific Baseball.

Pitching-Collier-14 1/3 Innings Pitched. 1-1 Record-7 runs allowed, 3 earned runs, 10 hits, 1 double. ERA-1.47 with 34 strikeouts and 6 walks. Jake struck out 12 in a loss to Borgia last week.

Htting-Average-.250 with 4 rbi and 2 runs scored and 1 stolen base.

Jake was an All District and Four Rivers All Conference Selection last year.

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Nick D'Onofrio-Senior-Union Baseball.


D'Onofrio is off to a good start to the season.

He took the mound in the opening game of the Four Rivers Conference Tournament against Owensville and pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts.

In the semifinal against St. Clair, D'Onofrio went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and a triple, two runs scored and two stolen bases.

GPA: 3.6

Nick plans to attend Missouri S&T in Rolla
